What to expect

The consultation
The initial session includes a consultation and treatment. The acupuncturist will ask some questions, listen carefully and do some diagnostics including medical pulse diagnosis. Be prepared to stick out your tongue. Your tongue reveals a lot about your health.

The plan
Based on clinical experience, your acupuncturist will suggest which treatment or combination of treatments is needed and how many sessions will be required to achieve optimal results. Some clients may be offered Chinese herbs and/or nutritional advice.

The follow up
Once you are satisfied with your results, a maintenance program may be recommended to maintain optimal health. Many clients chose to continue with regular acupuncture treatments as a lifestyle choice. Prevention is better than cure so to speak.
